LET GO OF BITTERNESS

When the enemy gets hold of your temper, he causes you to be wicked and evil unknowingly…
That is why we don’t have to sleep over anger. Always let go, it’s not about being a fool, it’s about letting go of pride

When you’re angry, your body releases adrenalines which are otherwise released when you’re in the face of danger and you need extra energy to fight or run or do whatever.

Now when the hormones are released and you don’t use them for the intended purpose, it becomes toxins in your body so scientifically, anger is not good for your health when you hold on to it.

Anger is natural but holding onto to it is the danger. When you sleep with anger on your mind, you are actually meditating on it and all sort of thoughts come rushing through your mind.
So once you allow anger to cause you to sin, the devil will stand on that and hold you down with guilt.

Gradually your prayer is affected or even your worship alone or even with a congregation because the enemy will be whispering in your ear anytime you attempt to pray or lift hands in worship. He’s the accuser of the brethren
He will also be whispering showing you all sorts of evil ways for you to retaliate.

He did same to Cane when he got angry over Abel’s offering
Genesis 4:7 puts it right that …sin lies at the door, and it’s desire is for you, but you must rule over it.
Now, let’s look at what the word of GOD says about anger

Matthew 6: 14-15
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

Matthew 18: 21-22
“Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times? “Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but 77 times.”

Ephesians 4: 31-32
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

Matthew 18: 21-22
“Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times? “Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but 77 times.”

Daniel 9:9
“The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him.”
God has forgiven you and is still forgiving. So why can’t we do same.

It’s ok to be angry but please you will have to learn to let it go, no matter how
It’s not fun to behold what u will become when u hold on to bitterness

When u hold to grudges, it turns you into a beast. Bitterness is like a small fire set under a big building . It will bring it down in ashes with time.

So, no matter what the case maybe , remember to always let go and let GOD handle it.
